The wise investor avoids the popular stocks (like amazon now with it's 210+ P/E ) and the mass hysteria that goes with them, for the popularity that surrounds these stocks often makes them way overpriced! if you want to own a company look for a period that the company is no longer popular- that's when you get upside potential. most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is, the time to get interested is when no one else is. AMAZON IS WAY OVERPRICED AND WENT UP 300% IN THE PAST YEAR AND HALF . P/E OF 210+ while normail is 15. I can see AMZN go down to 350-400 a share , meaning cut in half very soon!

Re: Bank Run in Europe; Can it Happen in the U.S.?

100% Guaranteed

Re: Oil Prices to Reach $80/Barrel?

High oil price increasing the currency rate.

Re: Portfolio Protection Against the Collapse of the U.S. Dollar

We are Financial Consultant Group! Already the yields for the 10 year are rising (after todays payroll data) meaning that investors are believing in future inflation. If that be the case and the Fed raises rates soon, the government will have to borrow at higher rates and all this artificially deflated budget deficit will come crashing. Unless, the economy is really on a path to recovery in which case tax revenues will aid against the rise in interest expenses for the government. Even if the economy fails, yields rise, being the engine of global growth, the US will still convince foreigners to lend to it despite its astronomical debt levels (as it always has). There is always the wild card! War, muscle someone, or other means to tip the odds in favour of the worlds largest economic and military power.

Re: Landmark Ruling in Mexico a Boon for These U.S. Oil Stocks?

The lure of big money has always thrown investors into the lap of stock markets.
